Executive Pastor
Dr. Chuck Henderson
Chuck is our Executive Pastor, having joined the staff in June of 2020. He has his Doctor of Ministry in Church Leadership from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Memphis. Rev. Jacob Clutts
Jacob Clutts, one of our Associate Pastors, is the husband of Mary and father of Daniel, Nora, & Emily. He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) & SIU Carbondale (Bachelor of Science). Jacob has served at HFBC since 2015. Rev. Harrison Meggos
Harrison Meggos is our Pastor of Emerging Generations and Rebekah’s husband. He graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) & Millikin University (Bachelor of Science). Harrison began serving at HFBC in 2023. Children’s Ministry Director
Ellie Coursey
Ellie oversees all children’s educational programs including Sunday School, Discipleship Training, Missions activities and Vacation Bible School. Ellie attended Georgetown College and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. After serving as a clinical pharmacist at Deaconess Hospital for 10 years, she sensed the call to ministry and has served children and families at HFBC since 1999. Director of First Kids Preschool
Mary Clutts
Mary is the director of First Kids Preschool. Mary graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After teaching kindergarten and preschool in the public school setting for five years, she stayed home with her children and relocated to Henderson. Since living in Henderson, she has taught in First Kids Preschool for several years before becoming the director. Mary is married to HFBC Student Minister, Jacob Clutts, and they have three children- Daniel, Nora, and Emily.

Mary has been on the staff at HFBC since 1996. She is a native of Evansville, IN and prior to moving to Henderson she worked for the Metropolitan Evansville Chamber of Commerce for 15 years. Mary serves as a support to our pastors and office team. She enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband, Clifford.

Jill Meadows
Jill, a Henderson native, has been our Student & Children’s Ministry Assistant since March 2012. Prior to joining the HFBC staff, Jill was a stay-at-home mom and long-time volunteer at HFBC. Her responsibilities focus on assisting our Associate Pastor of Emerging Generations, Director of Preschool Ministry and Director of Children’s Ministry. She has been married to her husband Jimmy for 31 years and they have two adult children. Jill enjoys Bible study, reading and spending time with her family.
Custodian
Raymond Wethington
Raymond has been on the HFBC staff for 30 years. His responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the church facility. He has two adult sons and is married to Linda. He likes hunting and horseback riding.

Darrin Phegley
Darrin’s position at HFBC is to support the ministerial staff with his creative talents. Besides his work at the church Darrin runs a photography and video business called Darrin Phegley-Capturing Life!
