By Virtue of His Position?  YES!

By Virtue of His Mission?  NO!

Matthew 26.39 “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” (esv)

John 3.16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (esv)
