Consistent IN OUR Judging

v. 1 “… in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you … practice the very same things.” (esv)

Matthew 7.2 “… the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (niv)

v. 3 “Do you suppose … that you will escape the judgment of God?” (esv)

v. 4 “… you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience …” (esv)

v. 5 “… because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.” (esv)

Fruitful IN OUR Living

v. 6 “God ‘will give to each person according to what he has done.’” (niv)

v. 7 “To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.” (niv)

James 2.18 “… I will show you my faith by my works.” (esv)

v. 8 “… for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.” (esv)
