MAKING US Honest About Our Need
2 Chronicles 20.12 “Our God … we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what todo, but our eyes are upon you.” (niv)
v. 26 “We do not know what we ought to pray for …” (niv)
v. 26b “… but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” (esv)
(niv) – “… groans that words cannot express.”
GIVING US Confidence In God’s Plan
v. 27 “… he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” (esv)
