1 Corinthians 1.4-9
v. 4 “I give thanks … because of the grace … given you in Christ Jesus …” (esv)
WE NAVIGATE BY GRATITUDE THAT …
WE HAVE Experienced God’s Grace
v. 4 “I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus …” (esv)
Acts 5.40-41 “They called the apostles in and had them flogged … The apostles left … rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.” (niv)
WE ARE Equipped For God’s Service
v. 5 “… that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge …” (esv)
v. 7 “… so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift …” (esv)
WE WILL Endure Until God’s Finale
vv. 7-9 “… as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful …” (esv)
v. 9 “… you were called into the fellowship of his Son …” (esv)
