WHAT THE PLAN REVEALS: REDEMPTION REQUIRES “Want To”

v. 12 “May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”(niv)

Titus 2.13–14 “… our great God and Savior Jesus Christ … gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession …” (esv)

REDEMPTION REQUIRES Follow Through

v. 17 “… he said to me, ‘You must not go back empty-handed to your mother-in-law.’” (esv)

v. 18 “Wait, my daughter … for the man will not rest but will settle the matter today.” (esv)

Ephesians 1.13b–14 “… the Holy Spirit of promise … is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.” (nas)
