CRUCIAL QUESTIONS FOR NAVIGATING THE WILDERNESS

ARE WE HELD By God’s Hands? 

v. 12 “Will [they] surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?” (esv)

v. 20 “O king, according to all your heart’s desire … come down, and our part shall be to surrender him into the king’s hand.” (esv)

v. 7 “God has given him into my hand …” (esv)

v. 14 “Saul sought him every day, but God did not give him into his hand.” (esv)

John 10.28 “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” (esv)

DO WE HAVE Access To God’s Guidance?

v. 6 “When Abiathar … fled to David … he came down with an ephod in his hand.” (nas)

Hebrews 4.14 & 16 “We have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God … Let us then with confidence draw near … that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (esv)

ARE WE HEADED Toward God’s Kingdom?
