vv. 2–3 “Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And … that we are to judge angels?” (esv)

Daniel 7.13–14 “I saw … one like a son of man, and … to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom … his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.”

Matthew 25.23 “You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much.”

2 Timothy 4.8 “There is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved his appearing.” (csb)
