Missions Community, Commonwealth, Country, Continents

“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
(Acts 1:8)

Henderson’s First Baptist Church is a missional body of believers.  We believe that every member is a missionary.  Jesus said in Acts 1:8 that the church is to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.  We think of these four areas as the Community, Commonwealth, Country, and Continents.

      • Community – HFBC partners with multiple ministries in our city.  These include agencies that help with feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, helping protect the unborn, and many more.
      • Commonwealth – Whether it’s church planting, revitalization or disaster relief, we have groups that respond to a variety of opportunities around Kentucky.
      • Country – HFBC works with our North American Mission Board (NAMB) to identify missionaries and churches with whom we can partner to spread the gospel.  In all three countries of our North American Continent, we’re involved in giving, going and praying.
      • Continents – Through the International Mission Board, HFBC partners with various missionaries to fulfill Jesus’ command to “go into all the world.”

How will you answer the call to missions? Pray, give, or go with one of our trusted missional partnerships!  Stop by our Missions Center at church and pick up a GO card!   (Join us “ON MISSION”)

If you would like to learn about how to get connected to any of the HFBC mission efforts, please contact Jacob Clutts, our Student and Missions Minister.
