Crossings Camp 2018
1.Respect all adults & other students
2.Respect the property. Keep it clean.
3.Follow the Crossings Dress Code (see below).
4.Be on time & participate in all events, including your small group.
6.Take a shower every day with soap.
7.Follow the Mobile-devices policy (see below) or you lose your device.
Mobile Device Policy
You can bring your phone to Camp! You’ll have an hour or so each day of free time that you can use your phone. You are NOT to use your device to “escape” from what’s going on. That means the following:
-No phones during worship & teaching session, & small group time. You’ll need a real Bible.
-No phones after lights out, or during TAWG, connect time or Checkpoint.
-During free time, you can use your device to briefly check in with your parents etc.
-All phones will be turned in (airplane mode) at 11pm.
If you are not following these guidelines, you forfeit your privilege to have a phone. After the first warning, you will have to tell Jacob. Together you will call your parents to say the following:
“Hi Mom/Dad. I am okay. I will not have my phone anymore because I did not follow the mobile device policy. If you need me, you will have to call Jacob at 618-697-0230. Jacob will then have to find me and tell me the message. If there is any emergency, someone else from the group will contact you. Thank you for letting me come to Crossings. Jacob is the best. I really like his mustache! I love you mom/dad!”
CROSSINGS DRESS CODE
Crossings asks that all students and adults dress modestly. Shorts & dresses need to be longer than fingertips when arm is extended down the side of leg and also at front & back. Crossings does not allow spaghetti strap tank tops or any tops where undergarments can be seen. Swimsuits must be one piece, no exceptions. For females, shorts must be worn over swimsuits at all times, even in the water. For both males and females, shirts must be worn at all times when walking to and from the lake/pool. Our adult chaperones have authority to veto any outfit in question.
