Rev. Jonathan Santos
Hispanic Ministry Pastor
Jonathan is the pastor of our Hispanic worship services. The ministry is only 3 years old at Henderson’s First Baptist Church and has a vibrant presence and fellowship here. Jonathan and his wife Laurie live in Henderson and are very active in the Hispanic community here.
Director of Media Ministries
Darrin leads in all things creative, including website, video, photography, advertising and promotional materials. Besides his work at the church and helping his wife Rhonda, of 18 years, raise their 7 kids, Darrin runs a small wedding photography business called in His image photography & design and works for the local newspaper, The Gleaner, as a staff photographer. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1994 with a BA in Photojournalism and a minor in Cultural Anthropology.
Student & Children's Ministry Assistant
Jill, a Henderson native, has been our Student & Children’s Ministry Assistant since March 2012. Prior to joining the FBC staff, Jill was a stay-at-home mom and long-time volunteer at FBC. Her responsibilities focus on assisting our Minister to Students and Director of Preschool and Children’s Ministry.
She has been married to her husband Jimmy for almost 20 years and they have a teenage son and daughter.
Jill enjoys Bible study, reading and spending time with her family.
Pastor Antonio Santos
Volunteer Staff Pastor
Pastor Santos is our volunteer staff pastor to Henderson’s Hispanic community. He holds a Hispanic service each Sunday morning at 9am in the student ministry’s Wired room.
Director of First Kids Preschool
Stacey is the Director of First Baptist’s weekday education program, First Kids Preschool, which meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am to noon. She oversees all the curriculum management and administration aspects of First Kids. Stacey graduated with a B.S from Murray State University and an M.F.A. from Ole Miss. Stacey has served at FBC since 2003. Her passion is to help parents help their children develop a strong, unshakable biblical worldview that is radically lived out every day.
Rev. Todd A. Linn
Todd came to pastor Henderson’s First Baptist Church in July, 2002. He is a double-graduate of Southern Seminary in Louisville where he earned the Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in 2004 and the Master of Divinity degree (MDiv) in 1999. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism from Georgia State University in 1987.
In addition to pastoring, Todd has written articles for the Courier & Press newspaper in Evansville, Indiana and serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Todd is married to Michele and has two sons, Matthew, a sophomore at the University of Southern Indiana and Nicholas, a sophomore at Union University in Jackson, TN. Todd enjoys reading, drinking good espresso, and running marathons.
Mary has been on the staff at FBC since 1996. She is a native of Evansville, IN and prior to moving to Henderson she worked for the Metropolitan Evansville Chamber of Commerce for 15 years. Although she works on various projects for the entire ministerial staff, her main responsibilities focus on working with the Minister of Family Equipping and Minister of Administration. She orders and stocks literature resources for Sunday school and weekday Bible study classes, keeps class rolls and attendance records current for the Sunday school department, updates the church calendar, maintains the database for the HFBC membership, and updates the prayer list on a daily basis. She enjoys Bible study courses, reading, gardening and time with family and friends.
Raymond has been on the FBC staff for 17 years. His responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the church facility.
He has two adult sons. He likes hunting and horseback riding.
Rev. Matt McCraw
Minister of Missional Outreach
Matt is our Minister of Missional Outreach. Matt came to Henderson’s First Baptist Church in May, 2009. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science from Boyce College in 2004 and a Master of Arts from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005. Matt is married to Jennifer and they have one son, Jeremiah.
Mrs. Ellie Coursey
Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries
Ellie oversees all preschool and children’s educational programs including Sunday School, Discipleship Training, and Missions activities. She also heads up outreach events such as Vacation Bible School and Fall Festival. Ellie attended Georgetown College and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. After serving as a clinical pharmacist at Deaconess Hospital for 10 years, she sensed the call to ministry and has served children and families at FBC since 1999. Her passions include helping children love the Lord and His word and helping parents fulfill their role as the primary spiritual influencers of their children. Ellie and her husband, Marty, have attended FBC since childhood and have 2 children, Lily and Marty Jr.
Rev. Alan Chamness
Minister of Music and Senior Adults
Alan graduated with a Bachelors of Music degree from Union University in Jackson, TN in 1970 and has a Master of Church Music degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He has done additional course work at Southern and at Northern Baptist Seminary in Chicago, IL. He also is a published hymn writer with Broadman Press in Nashville, TN.
Rev. Rich Stratton
Minister of Family Equipping
Rich became FBC’s Minister of Education in April, 2006. He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree (MDiv) in 2009. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication from Campbellsville University in 1995. Rich is also a contributing writer for the Kairos Journal, an online resource for pastors and church leaders.
Rich is married to Stacey. They have two children, Landon and Lynsey.
Rev. Ken Martin
Minister of Administration
Ken is responsible for the business and financial areas of the church. He also administers the support staff and facilities management. Ken became FBC’s Minister of Administration in June 2010. He is a graduate of University of Evansville where, in 1985, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Prior to being called to the ministry, Ken was in the manufacturing sector.
Ken is married to Pam. They have one son, Rev. Ryan Martin and his wife Rebekah.
