Our Senior Adult Organization which we also call Silvertones is for ages whatever plus. The centerpiece for this group is the third Friday noon luncheon which is held eleven months of the year. The Annual Senior Adult Banquet replaces our usual April third Friday meeting.
The potluck luncheon is held in the fellowship hall and features great fellowship and food and exciting programs throughout the year.
This group is planned for by the Senior Adult Council which meets quarterly and projects plans and ministries such as our Hands Together Ministry, which reaches out to our folx who have needs at their dwellings.
Mary Porter edits the Quarter Notes newsletter which keeps us informed on activities of this group.
Judy Hibbs serves our Homebound Ministry with visits and caregiving to many of our older members.
We also sponsor several bus trips during the year such as Padgett Theater in Grand Rivers, Derby Dinner Theatre in Clarksville, IN and Mystery Trips where we bring twenty dollars, climb aboard the bus and go who knows where. That makes for an exciting day!
Come, participate with us as we serve our Lord in our Senior Adult Ministry.
